USARA Registration:

  • As this is a USARA Qualifier race, during packet pickup all team members must be present, all forms must be completed for each team member, and Insurance fees must be paid for USARA membership. USARA forms will be available at Registration for all team members. USARA fees of $8 for a one-day race membership, $35 for yearly membership, or proof of USARA membership are required and can be paid at packet pickup.

 

Boats:

  • There will be a Boat Drop on race morning/afternoon. Teams may provide their own watercraft. Canoes are “Highly” suggested for the course based on their designed usage on the course, but not required. There will be canoe Rentals available through the Park System. Rental cost includes delivery to Boat Drop. If you are interested in renting a boat, please contact mark@sbbracing.com for complete details and to let him know you want to be placed on the Boat Rental List. Park Rental pricing will apply.

 

Maps:

  • Maps will consist of Topo Maps (1:24K and 1:10K) as well as other Park and related Trail Maps

    • 5:45 AM – Bike Drop Opens
    • 6:00 AM – Race Packet Pickup Opens
    • 6:45 AM – Team Pre-race Brief & Questions
    • 7:15 AM – Team Captains Final Brief & Prologue Info (Mandatory)
    • 7:30 AM – Race START
    • 6:30-8:00 – Post-race food and awards ceremony
  • 18+ Hour Course (ESTIMATED)
    • 9:15 AM – Boat Drop Opens
    • 9:45 AM – Bike Drop Opens
    • 10:00 AM – Race Packet Pickup Opens
    • 10:45 AM – Team Pre-race Brief & Questions
    • 11:15 AM – Team Captains Final Brief & Prologue Info (Mandatory)
    • 11:30 PM – Race START

Volunteers:

  • Adventure Racing cannot go on w/o a great Volunteer staff. If any racer’s friends or family members are interested in volunteering while you race, please fill out the Volunteer Form and send to mark@sbbracing.com . They can work as little or as much as they would like. You will earn valuable discounts on Race Entry for future SBB Racing races that they can use or gift to anyone they choose.

 

Lodging:

  • ALL racers race entry includes a FREE Camping spot the night before and the night after the race (if desired). There is a number of hotels available w/in 20-30 min of Race Start as well as Cabins in the Park for rent. A list of these will be made available on the SBB website when the race Venue is announced in Summer 2017.
